The JC Boyle, Copco, and Iron Gate reservoirs have all been drained, and the Klamath River is reforming itself by cutting through decades of deposited reservoir sediments.
As part of FlowWest’s Klamath Basin work that encompasses restoration planning for Upper Klamath Lake tributaries to salmon management software development at the river mouth, the FlowWest team toured dramatic and dynamic sites at all of the emptied reservoirs.
We are extremely excited to continue our work with Tribes, agencies, NGOs, and other partners in the Klamath Basin helping this awesome watershed recover!
