Our Northern California team has had a blast reconnecting in Sacramento this week. Our remote-first development team, led by Jordan Jordan Hoang, traveled to Sacramento for a client meeting and to test their Spring Run Juvenile Production Estimate app in the field (Willie Whitfield and team had a lot of fun in waders!) This app was developed to help researchers and scientists better track and understand Spring Run salmon populations using rotary screw trap data.
And as an added bonus, our Oakland-based employees traveled to Sacramento on Monday to have an in-person work day. With our team spread out across the state and country, these days are special and are events we value highly. It allows for extra collaboration that you can't get behind a computer screen, and some yummy deep dish pizza thanks to Zelda's!
