Stormwater Engineer (Full-Time)
FlowWest is looking for a mid-level Stormwater Engineer with experience developing construction documents and designs for stormwater systems. The candidate should have industry experience evaluating commercial and industrial facilities for their annual stormwater discharge permits. The candidate should have experience designing urban stormwater conveyance projects, particularly surrounding creeks, storm draining piping designs, stormwater treatment and or storage systems, "Green infrastructure" for stormwater, and stormwater best management practices design. The ideal candidate will be a registered EIT or PE in California with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year commensurate with experience plus incentives for developing new business/clients.
Senior Hydraulic Modeler (Full-Time)
FlowWest is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Modeler to join our team working on projects throughout California related to restoration, fisheries, ecologically sensitive flood control, and more. A qualified candidate must be proficient in HEC-RAS or equivalent 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. The expected duties of this position include implementing or overseeing hydrologic and hydraulic studies, writing and reviewing reports, and mentoring and overseeing staff supporting conducting 1D and 2D hydraulic modeling and analysis.
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year commensurate with experience plus incentives for developing new business/clients.
Senior Restoration Design Engineer (Full-Time)
FlowWest is looking for a Senior Restoration Design Engineer to join our team working on river and floodplain restoration projects throughout California. This candidate would be expected to manage water resources and ecosystem engineering design and construction projects from conceptual design through design completion and implementation. This includes developing designs for and managing staff performing multiple habitat restoration, fish passage, and general river, floodplain, wetland, and watershed-related design projects. Candidate must be a registered PE in California and should have experience with fish passage, CAD, design, specs, cost estimates, restoration projects, and permitting. Ideally the candidate will have 5-10 years of experience.
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year commensurate with experience plus incentives for developing new business/clients.
