Yesterday was a big day for salmon habitat on the Tuolumne River. After nearly three years of planning and design, FlowWest kicked off construction that will provide many acres of new spawning and rearing habitat for salmon on the Tuolumne River near LaGrange. FlowWest is so grateful to our awesome collaborative partners at the Tuolumne River Trust, Applied River Sciences, Monk & Associates Inc, Triangle Properties, and Stanislaus County Parks and Recreation. Additonally, a big thank you to the California Department of Water Resources San Joaquin Fish Population Enhancement Program for funding this important effort. We can't wait to see fish using this new habitat in the fall!
