FlowWest participated in the MESA STEM Industry Collaboration Day at Sacramento City College yesterday. SCC MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement Program) is an equity-focused program that supports students who come from historically underrepresented backgrounds to pursue STEM careers. Julius Ratemo, EIT represented the firm at the event and engaged with the bright minds currently enrolled and alumni of the program.
Students from various colleges including Sacramento City College and Cosumnes River College came together to discuss their projects, career paths, and to gain insights from industry professionals. Julius shared his post-graduate experiences; he was part of a panelist discussion alongside 2 other MESA alumni and students. Here's to a successful networking event!
