Last Thursday, the New Mexico Water Data Workshop brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss the importance of water data in managing and protecting the state’s water resources, hosted by the NM Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources.
FlowWest’s Liz Stebbins, Erin Cain, and Ashley Vizek proudly represented the firm to share the data science team’s hard work in water data management.
The workshop themes included the need for accurate and reliable water data to inform decision-making, the power of storytelling and the value of data in storytelling, and the dangers of fragmented data. Collaboration between different stakeholders, including local communities and government agencies, is essential for ensuring the availability and accessibility of water data now and in the future. The use of technology in water data management was also discussed.
Thank you team for representing FlowWest!
